THERE HAS BEEN AN INCREASE IN SUBJECTS APPLYING FOR CCW LICENSE WHO HAVE CRIMINAL RECORDS AND NOT ANSWERING ACCORDINGLY ON THEIR APPLICATIONS. NEW CRIMINAL CHARGES MAY BE FILED ON THOSE THAT DO NOT MEET REQUIREMENTS AND LIE ON THE APPLICATION.

In order to apply for or renew a CCW permit, you must have an appointment. Tuesday & Thursday 8:30a.m. – 3:30p.m. are the available times and days for an appointment. Note that appointment times may vary depending on waiting list for obtaining a CCW.

Applicants must be an Ohio resident for minimum of 45 days and Fulton County or adjoining county resident for minimum of 30 days

To process a Concealed Carry Application, you will need:

The completed and signed application.

Your training certificate with the instructors name and NRA # or OPOTA #.

A recent color photo (Less than 30 days) that fits on the front of the application.

Your driver's license.

To process a Concealed Carry Renewal, you will need:

Current CCW permit.

The completed and signed application.

The costs are as follows:

If you have been an Ohio resident over 5 years, $67.00

If you have been an Ohio resident less than 5 years, $78.25

Renewal application, $50.00

Emergency / Temporary application, $37.00

The applicant will be notified to pick up their CCW Permit Card within 45 days.

Falsifying of a CCW application may result in prosecution for falsification, a felony of the Fourth Degree
